In the real world, I am a 48 year old Medical Technologist in Wichita, Kansas, USA. I am blissfully married to a ex-surf-goddess from Southern California. We have 4 cats: Loki, Maulkin, Meiko, and Vesta, and therefore don't need children to turn our hair grey. I am an avid hiker, and my hiking boots have been soaked in Pacific surf, North Atlantic Tidal Pools and warm Gulf waters. I will read almost anything. I heartily approved the selection of "The Lord of the Rings" as book of the Century, love Steinbeck's non-fiction and can not read Faulkner. Science Fiction and Fantasy thrill me, and I very much enjoyed the Lord of the Rings Movie, and "Harry Potter". I am also a history buff and loved "Saving Private Ryan", "Gettysburg" and "We were Soldiers". I detested "Shakespere in Love", and found James Cameron's "Titanic" boring. I am a member of the court for a local Renaissance Faire. I love folk music, and play the tin whistle, recorder and Native American Flute I belong to the Episcopal Church, study Buddhism, and practice Tai Chi. Now you know more about me than my therapist.
